Illustrative scenario: a proposed deployment based on NodeLivo's published specifications.

The business: overseas buyers and a China-based operations team
Consider a homeware store selling mainly to North American buyers. Customers browse products, add items to a cart, pay and check their orders. The operations team in China updates listings, manages stock and arranges shipping.
The deployment needs to support both sides of that workflow. During a promotion, product pages may receive concentrated traffic while order records are being updated. Server sizing should consider those activities together.
The candidate: Silicon Valley NVMe bare metal
This proposal uses NodeLivo's Silicon Valley dual Gold 6133 gigabit BGP bare metal plan as a candidate. The published configuration lists dual Gold 6133 processors, 40 cores, 64GB RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD and a 1Gbps International BGP port.
Those resources provide a basis for allocating capacity to the application, database and cache. Actual traffic capacity depends on the storefront software, query efficiency and load testing. The application team configures the commerce software, payment integration and backup jobs.
The deployment: handle catalog content and order data separately
Compress product images and configure suitable caching for public product descriptions. Handle carts, sign-in state and personal order pages per user, keeping them out of shared page caches.
Use HTTPS for the website and restrict database and cache access to the services that need them. Keep the previous application release available during updates, store database backups outside the server and document the recovery steps.
Test the Silicon Valley deployment from both the buyers' target networks and the operations team's connection. Include browsing, admin edits and image uploads.
Acceptance: follow an order all the way through
In the payment test environment, check product selection, the cart, payment confirmation, stock updates and order lookup. Also test duplicate notifications, failed payments and application rollback. Before a promotion, exercise the complete workflow while recording response times, errors and resource usage.
The delivery goal is a documented setup for catalog access, order processing and ongoing maintenance. Set capacity and concurrency targets after testing. Other candidate configurations are available in the NodeLivo server catalog.
